The ANUGA in Cologne, an abbreviation for the „General Food and Beverage Exhibition“, is the world’s leading food trade fair catering to retail, gastronomy and the out-of-home market. Organised by the renowned Koelnmesse GmbH, a leader in large international exhibitions, ANUGA has played a central role in the Food & Beverage industry since its inception in 1951.
Every two years in October, the impressive grounds of the Cologne Fair host this specialised exhibition. ANUGA presents ten main themes, including ANUGA Fine Food, ANUGA Drinks and ANUGA Chilled & Fresh Food, covering a wide range of products and services. These include food and beverages, gastronomy technology and services for food retailers and gastronomy.
A key feature of the fair is the ANUGA trend topics, which highlight current industry demands and market trends.
Exhibitors primarily come from food and beverage production, import and wholesale, gastronomy technology and food retailer and gastronomy services. The fair’s international atmosphere attracts visitors from nearly every country, fostering cross-border business and networking.
ANUGA Cologne serves as a model for other fairs worldwide, such as ANUGA Select Brazil and ANUFOOD China, also organised by Koelnmesse GmbH.

During the five-day fair from 9 to 13 October 2021, ANUGA in Cologne welcomed approximately 4443 exhibitors and 69549 visitors from 169 countries.
The Anuga will be held in Cologne from Saturday 9th October to Wednesday 13th October 2027.
